Okay, so I have a big announcement. One of the main reasons my brother and his wonder HG moved up here NOW is because he and I are opening a music education business called, Music Sprouts. Essentially, we'll be providing 1/2 hour music classes to preschools.
See, Ben, my brother is very musical. He taught himself to play guitar in adolescence and he pretty much hasn't stopped since. Almost every job he's had involves music. He's our very own folkrockstar. Additionally, he is AMAZING with kids and has extensive experience teaching music to all ages.
Then there's me. I love education and kids and organizing. I'll be the office manager/classroom assistant during the summer.
What a team.
I wanted to wait until we had our website up before announcing it here, but we have meetings with our lawyer and website developer next Monday. Music Sprouts started to feel real after we wrote the business plan and curriculum last fall. It began to feel even more like a reality when we registered it with the state in January, and now it feels like an honest to goodness business. And I just couldn't wait to share.
We are...under construction.
